Overview

Anderson College offers career-ready training in healthcare, business, and technology. My work focused on designing curriculum-aligned eLearning courses for adult learners enrolled in their career programs — ensuring alignment with adult learning principles, accessibility standards, and institutional learning outcomes.

The role spanned course design, LMS administration, multimedia content production, and applied research into emerging instructional design and educational technology practices.

Responsibilities

  • Developed accessible learning materials and activities for program delivery.
  • Provided D2L LMS organization, maintenance, and technical solutions.
  • Collaborated with faculty and instructional designers on creating and refining courses.
  • Researched, analyzed, and implemented innovations in educational and technological practice.
  • Produced multimedia content — animated explainers, AI-narrated walkthroughs, and infographics — to enhance engagement and learning outcomes.

Approach

Interactive H5P modules were built within MoodleCloud's embedded H5P builder to deliver formative course activities. Animated explainers were produced in Vyond, visual design in Canva Pro, and audio/video walkthroughs in Descript and WellSaid Labs. The overarching emphasis was on accessible instructional design and the practical implementation of emerging educational technologies in an online learning environment.
